Job Description
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- Experience preparing annual financial statements and managing month-end reporting
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS and financial controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
- Proven track record in financial accounting rather than specialist tax, VAT, or consulting-only roles
- Experience leading or mentoring junior finance staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
- Prepare annual financial statements and support external audits
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Monitor cash flow and working capital performance
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies within the finance function
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
