About the Role
G-Core Capital is seeking an experienced and innovative Packaging Technical Manager (& New Product Development) to join our team in Verulam. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for driving technical development, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical development for all sample requests received for Sales team and customers
- New RM development and supplier development
- Evaluate alternate materials, possibilities, processes, and equipment
- Finding new opportunities for the next business pipeline – Concepts.
- Discuss successful projects with Mkt team as I2M’s (Information to Market) format.
- Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers.
- Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the company within Group companies.
- Document all phases of Sample development for the commercialization of project.
- Manage customer relationships and perform requests for expected products/reviews, customer visits, and product testing.
- Be present at industry conferences on the research topics of Interest.
- Communication with global technology team for all new projects/things going on at Global R & D and implementing the best technology what can be possible from other team on all the segments (Flexible) & Vice versa
- Involvement in selection of new technology/ machinery/ Business concept
- Lead key projects for GKA’a & LKA’s with Marketing team & Operations Team to support business goals
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Degree in Chemical Engineering and/or similar
- Diploma in Packaging & Printing
- 8 – 10 years of experience in Flexible Packaging product development
- 5 – 8 Years in the Printing & Packaging, Food Packaging Industry and Paper/Plastic Films experience.
