About the Role
The Western Cape is seeking a qualified Hazmat Supervisor to oversee the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Manage emergency response to spills
- Train staff on safety procedures
- Maintain safety documentation (SDS)
- Conduct inspections to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Matric
- 3 or more years Hazmat experience
- Hazmat Awareness
- Hazmat Operations
- Basic Ambulance
- Fire Fighting 1 & 2
- Valid Driver’s Licence
