About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hotel Experience Host to join our team at Hospitality Hire. As the main point of contact for guests, you will ensure a seamless and personalised experience from arrival to departure, while maintaining excellent knowledge of Cape Town attractions, dining experiences, and local activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience from arrival to departure.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalised assistance, recommendations, and solutions.
  • Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally while ensuring effective service recovery.
  • Coordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest requests with relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to enhance repeat guest experiences.
  • Uphold the hotel’s service standards, brand values, and commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ guest relations or front office experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of guest service, VIP hosting, and complaint handling.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach.
  • Professional presentation and confidence when interacting with high-profile guests.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, a Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management is advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
