About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our luxury safari lodge in Zululand, KZN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance
- Manage and monitor water systems (meters, pumps, boreholes where applicable)
- Daily fleet checks and basic vehicle maintenance oversight
- Prepare vehicles for game drives (fuel, cleanliness, basic checks)
- Provide veld and farm support when required
- Assist rangers with operational support (non-guest facing duties only)
- Ensure lodge infrastructure is well maintained and operational at all times
Requirements
Practical, hands-on maintenance experience essential. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail are also necessary.
