Hospitality and Outdoor New Vacancy – Safari Manager Mkuze; KwaZulu Natal Introduction An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Safari Manager to join a wellestablished hospitality hotel in Mkuze, KwaZuluNatal. This senior leadership role within a boutique property combines safari operations, guest experiences, and conservationdriven tourism. The Safari Manager will oversee all guest activities, including game drives, boat cruises, and cultural excursions, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards and seamless operations. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a passion for experiential tourism, sustainability, and delivering memorable guest journeys in the Zululand region. Job Requirements Proven experience as a Safari Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality or lodge environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and develop a safari and experiences team Excellent understanding of hospitality standards, guest engagement, and experiential tourism Valid drivers licence with PDP; skippers licence highly advantageous FGASA qualification or similar guiding background beneficial Experience managing safari vehicles, boats, and operational assets Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and risk management in safari operations Ability to manage activity schedules, guest itineraries, and interdepartmental coordination Knowledge of sustainability, conservation, and Fair Trade Tourism principles Excellent communication, organisation, and problemsolving skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Package Salary: R25,000 R30,000 per month (DOE) Livein accommodation (including utilities) 50% contribution to medical aid 7% company contribution to provident fund Opportunity to grow within a leading hospitality and ecotourism environment Start Date: ASAP
