About the Role
An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Safari Manager to join a well-established hospitality hotel in Mkuze, KwaZuluNatal. This senior leadership role combines safari operations, guest experiences, and conservation-driven tourism. The Safari Manager will oversee all guest activities, including game drives, boat cruises, and cultural excursions, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all guest activities, including game drives, boat cruises, and cultural excursions
- Ensure exceptional hospitality standards and seamless operations
- Manage, train, and develop a safari and experiences team
- Coordinate interdepartmental efforts to deliver memorable guest journeys
- Manage activity schedules, guest itineraries, and operational assets
- Implement safety, compliance, and risk management protocols in safari operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safari Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality or lodge environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train staff
- Excellent understanding of hospitality standards, guest engagement, and experiential tourism
- Valid drivers licence with PDP; skippers licence highly advantageous
- FGASA qualification or similar guiding background beneficial
