About the Role
Our client, a specialised food ingredients supplier, is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Rep to expand and maintain their business into enzyme products and other speciality ingredient areas. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the food manufacturing industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in enzyme products and other speciality ingredient areas
- Provide technical support and guidance to existing customers on ingredients and food processing technologies
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies
- Travel locally, nationally, and internationally to meet with clients and attend industry events
Requirements
- Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent
- At least 4 years Technical Sales experience
- Technical knowledge of ingredients and food processing technologies
- Positive, disciplined, and self-motivated individual
- Comfortable working as part of a team
