About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and client-centric Wealth Management Associate to support a Wealth Manager in delivering exceptional client experiences to High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients in our boutique wealth and financial planning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and collate new client onboarding documentation.
  • Manage and update client CRM profiles accurately.
  • Liaise with internal and external providers regarding client-specific queries and implementation of instructions.
  • Resolve and manage administrative queries on behalf of the Wealth Manager.
  • Prepare client review packs with support from internal teams where required.
  • Ensure deadlines, paperwork, and operational processes are managed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience within a financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory environment.
  • Experience supporting Wealth Managers, Financial Advisors, or Family Officers.
  • Solid understanding of FAIS and FICA requirements.
  • Commerce or Financial qualification (advantageous).
  • CFP® designation (advantageous).
  • RE5 qualification (advantageous).

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Management Associate to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and collate new client onboarding documentation
  • Oversee the management and updating of client CRM profile
  • Liaise with external and internal providers on client-specific queries
  • Resolve and manage admin-related queries or issues with clients directly
  • Manage preparation of client review packs
  • Apply basic knowledge of the FAIS General Code of Conduct in daily work
  • Draft and/or check Record of Advice and Replacement disclosure forms
  • Ensure CDD on all clients based on their risk profile according to FICA and company RMCP
  • Ensure a basic level of product knowledge by keeping up to date with products
  • Compile proposal documents based on the Wealth Manager’s instruction
  • Compile a financial needs analysis and retirement needs analysis based on Wealth Manager guidelines

Requirements

  • Commerce or financial degree (advantageous)
  • 3-5 years experience in the financial planning environment assisting Family Officers and/or Wealth Managers and/or Financial Advisors
  • CFP designation (advantageous)
  • RE5 (advantageous)
  • Experience in and solid understanding of the financial planning environment, FAIS (CAT II advantageous), and FICA
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and plan around large amounts of information
  • High attention to detail
  • Keen interest in Fintech systems
