Our Client, a prominent brand in the Retail / Fashion Industry; is seeking to employ an experienced Regional Visual Merchandiser to their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar Visual Merchandising role.
- Clothing retail experience is essential.
- Proven experience managing multiple stores or regions.
- Matric (required).
- Post-matric qualification in Fashion, Retail, Marketing, or a related field (advantageous).
- Valid Code 8 drivers licence.
- Ability and willingness to travel across multiple regions.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Create visually impactful merchandise displays that elevate product appeal and support sales performance.
- Ensure store layouts and focal points align with category performance, customer behavior, and seasonal direction.
- Work collaboratively with store teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality presentation standard across all stores, and across the business.
- Adhere to timelines and directives from Head Office for display rollouts, marketing campaigns, and promotional changes.
Fixtures, Layouts & Store Flow:
- Design store plans that support customer movement and maximize product exposure.
- Ensure fixtures and rails align precisely with the floor plan and retail standards.
- Apply creative use of lighting to enhance product focus areas.
- Identify and maintain primary, secondary, and tertiary product locations to ensure freshness and relevance.
- Maintain up-to-date fixture inventories and coordinate sourcing of props, signage, and merchandising tools.
Housekeeping Standards:
- Ensure all merchandising fixtures, rails, shelves, windows, and mirrors are clean and in good repair.
- Maintain correct use of hangers and ensure sales floors remain tidy and obstacle-free.
- Uphold high standards for stockroom organization, model presentation, and visual elements.
Product Merchandising:
- Maintain and update the Merchandising Manual and ensure store teams understand its principles.
- Implement merchandising strategies aligned with space utilization metrics, stock volumes, and seasonal demands.
- Execute window changes and VM directives from Head Office.
- Create engaging focal displays using trend intelligence, cultural insights, and customer behavior patterns.
- Support stores in preparing for promotions and product launches.
- Oversee stock presentation qualityincluding steaming, product sequencing, and garment finishes.
- Assist with stock-related activities such as inventory checks, IBTs, markdowns, and replenishment processes.
Marketing Materials & Signage:
- Ensure timely rollout of marketing materials according to the Marketing Calendar.
- Maintain accuracy and condition of all signage, display elements, and directional communication in stores.
- Propose creative promotional ideas that support traffic growth and sales uplift.
- Train teams to correctly apply and house marketing materials.
Communication, Reporting & Training:
- Attend weekly alignment meetings with Buying and Marketing to understand upcoming plans / products and how to execute them in stores.
- Conduct store visits professionally, outlining objectives with Store Managers.
- Compile detailed visit reports and share insights with Area Managers and the Operations Manager.
- Provide visual merchandising guidance to stores via memos and merchandising packs.
- Train and develop store teams in VM principles, product knowledge, and presentation skills.
- Identify and mentor high-potential staff to take on merchandising responsibilities.
- Gather customer insights through surveys and in-store observation, reporting trends.
- Understand warehouse dispatch processes for promotional materials and follow up when necessary.
