About the Role
Network Contracting, a well-established and fast-paced organisation, is seeking a seasoned IT Manager to take control of its full technology environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in taking ownership, solving complex problems, and building reliable, scalable IT environments that support growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the organisation’s IT ecosystem, including infrastructure, ERP systems, networks, and end-user support
- Lead, manage, and deliver IT projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met
- Oversee ERP systems (including performance, upgrades, integrations, and access control) to ensure operational and financial alignment
- Ensure high system availability, network performance, and cybersecurity across the business
- Drive continuous improvement across IT processes, systems, and service delivery
- Manage external IT service providers, ensuring SLA adherence, performance, and cost optimisation
- Oversee helpdesk and user support functions, ensuring high service levels and minimal downtime
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies
- Partner with business units, including finance and operations, to support key processes such as reporting cycles and stock management
Requirements
- Completed Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5–8 years’ experience within IT, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role
- Proven experience managing full IT environments, including infrastructure, ERP systems, and support functions
- Strong background in ERP systems (Syspro experience highly advantageous)
- Experience managing IT vendors, budgets, and service delivery
