Job Description

About the Role

Our client, a well-established investment institution, requires the expertise of a qualified financial professional to assist in preparing financial plans, conducting technical analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting financial needs analyses (risk, pre-retirement, post-retirement)
  • Preparing investment proposals and client review files
  • Managing client relationships and coordinating with product providers
  • Ensuring documentation complies with CAR, POPI, FICA, and FAIS regulation
  • Performing quality control and overseeing implementation of advice
  • In-depth understanding of financial planning systems and tools used

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Working toward or having achieved Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in X-Plan, financial planning software, and CRM systems

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications: Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
