About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Takora Pty Ltd in Amanzimtoti. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our industrial refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems
- Service manufacturing equipment and water chiller units
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex problems
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
- Matric and Equivalent Qualifications
- 710 years of hands-on experience in industrial refrigeration, with experience in manufacturing, servicing, and water chiller environments
- Technical background
- Electrical experience
- Proficiency in refrigeration
- Valid South African Drivers license
- Own transport to and from work
- Ability to travel to site for breakdowns and installations
