About the Role
Phakisa Holdings is seeking a reliable and professional Driver Code10 – Messenger / Company Driver to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting staff, documents, and goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport staff, documents, and goods safely and efficiently
- Perform deliveries and collections
- Assist with general office errands
- Ensure vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and maintained
- Maintain accurate trip and fuel records
- Report incidents or vehicle issues promptly
- Adhere to company policies and traffic regulations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB; Code 10 advantageous)
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential)
- 2-5 years’ driving experience in a corporate or service environment
- Experience with deliveries, collections, and general office support
- Familiarity with local routes and surrounding areas
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Basic administrative skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
- Willingness to work overtime
- Physically fit
- Clear criminal record
