Position: Legal Compliance Advisor
Location: Bloemfontein
Salary: Market Related + Benefits (Pension Fund & Medical Aid)
Minimum Requirements
- Admitted Attorney
- Minimum 2 years post-admission experience
- Previous experience in Compliance is essential
- Strong understanding of regulatory and legal compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters
- Candidate must reside in the Bloemfontein area or be willing to relocate
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and internal policies
- Monitor and assess compliance risks within the business
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures
- Provide legal and compliance advice to management and internal stakeholders
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments
- Assist with regulatory reporting and submissions
- Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments
- Provide compliance training and guidance to staff where required
