About the Role
The Junior Wealth Technical Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key stakeholder engagement specialist. As a subject matter expert on technical product and advice matters, you will provide strategic support to internal and external stakeholders, driving project progress and collaborating with Product Providers to analyse data and collate feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engagement sessions between internal and/or external stakeholders
- Provide expertise on technical product and advice matters, including adviser-focused meetings and relevant technical/distribution committees
- Keep track of team projects and provide support in moving them across the line
- Introduce efficiencies within the team
- Provide ongoing support with Wealth product provider due diligence and report on progress
- Apply actuarial principles and methods to solving defined and routine problems
- Drive process improvements with Product Providers, analyse data received, and collate feedback
- Conduct statistical analysis and risk assessment
- Analyse financials and track progress on projects
- Adapt to change and respond to evolving needs
Requirements
- Degree in Financial Management / Financial Planning / Financial Accounting or related
- Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning / CFP (advantageous)
- A minimum of 3 years experience dealing with investment products, life insurance, medical aids in the financial services industry
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for presentations
