About the Role

The Centurion: Construction Support Manager role is a critical position that oversees all construction support operations across active sites, ensuring seamless project administration, documentation, procurement support, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people management skills, excellent organisational and multitasking ability, and a proven track record of driving process improvements in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all construction support operations across active sites
  • Coordinate project administration, documentation, procurement support, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Support project managers with planning, scheduling, and operational coordination
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments
  • Manage support staff and ensure high levels of performance and accountability
  • Oversee fleet, equipment, and site resource coordination where required
  • Prepare management reports, project updates, and operational analyses
  • Assist with tender documentation, contracts, and project onboarding processes
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, updated, and audit-ready

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 58 years experience within the construction industry
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in a construction support or operations role
  • Strong understanding of construction project processes and site operations
  • Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and project teams
