The company is a Professional Services Firm based in Umhlanga, that partners with law firms in the United Kingdom (UK). They create competitive advantage by increasing profitability, enhancing client experience, improving efficiency, quality and compliance through process automation, data-driven insights, and digital innovation. With an excellent track record of delivery to UK law firms from South Africa, their legal professionals manage full Conveyancing, Estate Planning, Deceased Estates, Dispute Resolution, Trust Management and Personal Injury matters for their clients. Their Legal Client Services team supports client matters and converts and onboards new clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for leader to join a high-performing English residential conveyancing team that generates conveyancing fees for our blue chip law firm client in England. You will combine your technical conveyancing and leadership skills to deliver a high-quality client experience, whilst managing our legal risk and delivering exceptional value to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise conveyancing fees for our client.
  • Oversee your teams caseload whilst managing your own.
  • Lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with our clients risk policies, flag and escalate risks promptly.
  • Proactively communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to our client that drive continuous improvement.
  • Keep abreast of legal and technical developments in the UK conveyancing space.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
  • Qualified Conveyancer

Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years residential conveyancing experience.
  • Conveyancing experience in English law
  • Work UK hours and take UK Bank holidays.
  • Ability to work from home if required (min 20 meg fibre line).
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Own transport.

Skills

  • Detailed knowledge of residential conveyancing in South Africa and/or the United Kingdom. Ability to build and lead high-performing legal teams.
  • A passion for developing people.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tech savvy with excellent AI and Microsoft Office skills.
