About the Role

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base across various industries. You will need to possess strong technical product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across various industries
  • Provide technical product knowledge and recommend suitable solutions based on client requirements
  • Collaborate with Directors to develop and implement sales strategies that expand the customer base
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare quotations, sales forecasts, reports, and daily visit sheets
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events when required

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a technical field would be advantageous
  • Proven sales experience of components, products, and/or materials, ideally gained over 10 years
  • Experience within rubber, gasketing, felt, foam, construction, component manufacturing, or related industries is highly advantageous
  • Exposure to mining, manufacturing, automotive, construction, or industrial sectors would be beneficial
