About the Role
As a Sales & Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth through market research, cold calling, and building strong relationships with clients. You will also promote and sell products and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), introduce new product offerings to the market, and provide after-sales support to ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new market opportunities through research and fieldwork
- Conduct cold calling and proactively generate new leads
- Visit warehouses and industrial sites (including those without an online presence)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Promote and sell products and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Introduce new product offerings to the market
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and operations
- Provide after-sales support and maintain excellent customer service
- Work closely with warehouse managers and operational teams
- Assist with drafting newsletters (contribute articles and review layouts)
- Support marketing campaigns and events
- Prepare tender documents and project documentation
- Assist with initial project layouts before handover to technical teams
Requirements
- Completed tertiary qualification
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
