East London: HSE Intern (Automotive)

Key Performance Indicators: • Assist in ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislation and company policies • Support implementation of safety procedures, standards, and risk controls • Participate in conducting and reviewing risk assessments (HIRA – Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) • Assist with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Procedures development • Assist in organizing and delivering safety training sessions and toolbox talks • Support induction programs for new employees Minimum Requirements: • A National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. • Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is an advantage • No prior work experience required (intern-level), but exposure to manufacturing environments is beneficial • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a team and independently
