Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed structural reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD and Probar
  • Interpret and detail reinforcement requirements directly from engineering drawings and structural specifications
  • Prepare reinforcement detailing layouts, bar bending schedules, and associated detailing documentation
  • Apply reinforcement detailing standards, curtailment rules, and detailing best practices accurately
  • Review drawings for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements
  • Coordinate with structural engineers and technical teams to clarify design intent and resolve detailing queries
  • Assist with revisions and updates to detailing packages as project requirements evolve
  • Maintain drawing standards, accuracy, and quality control throughout project execution

Minimum Requirements

  • 0–5 years’ experience in structural reinforcement detailing
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Probar
  • Sound understanding of reinforcement detailing principles, standards, and curtailment rules
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and structural specifications accurately
  • Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Advantageous

  • Experience with Prokon Padds Detailing
  • Exposure to Revit
  • Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering
  • Experience working within structural consulting or multidisciplinary engineering environments
