Financial Manager
Location: Edenvale, Johannesburg
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Financial Manager to take ownership of accounting, reporting, and internal control while supporting integration into a global group. This role is ideal for a professional with strong IFRS knowledge, cost and inventory focus, and the ability to provide business analysis and decision support. The successful candidate should be available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes in line with IFRS and statutory requirements
Ensure high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with reconciliations and documentation
Safeguard strong internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations
Act as the main accounting contact with group finance functions
Manage cost and inventory accounting, analysis, and follow-up
Take ownership of asset management, inventory control, and working capital monitoring
Provide financial analysis and business performance support to management
Prepare and present Business Reviews and Company Reviews
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
Qualifications & Experience:
Solid experience as a Financial Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role
Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory accounting, and internal control
Background in cost and inventory accounting, preferably in a product/manufacturing environment
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; Chartered Accountant advantageous
Proven ability to deliver accuracy and meet deadlines in a structured manner
Key Competencies:

Business-oriented with strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Comfortable working with both operations and corporate finance functions
