About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Hotel Manager to join our Luxury 5-Star Hotel in Ballito. As a hands-on operational leader, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring consistent service excellence, and driving a high-end guest experience across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments
- Lead Hosts and supervisory team members
- Ensure seamless and consistent service delivery
- Manage guest experience and service recovery processes
- Maintain and enforce operational and brand standards
- Support staff development and on-the-floor leadership
- Assist with cost control and operational efficiencies
- Maintain strong presence across the property (not office-based role)
- Work weekends and flexible shifts as required
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a senior operational hotel role
- Luxury or boutique hotel experience preferred
- Strong hands-on leadership approach
- Guest-focused with strong attention to detail
- Calm, professional, and effective under pressure
- Strong communication and team coordination skills
- Opera Cloud or similar hotel system experience advantageous
