About the Role
The Lodge Collection with Head Offices based in Ballito is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to represent the company and its products within the Travel Trade, driving sales growth and occupancy targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with the Travel trade to promote the Lodges, through training, online and in person, travel workshops & trade shows
- Meet with Tour Operator Product Managers to nurture relationships and increase sales
- Grow the international market through tour operator business
- Identify partner properties and sign up for packages with Lodges
- Follow up all sales calls and update Sales Force daily
- Manage Sales Diary
- Provide innovative ideas of ways to entertain top travel trade at discretion of Marketing Manager to promote Lodges
- Assist in planning & executing of travel workshops & shows
- Assist in planning & hosting site inspections
- Analyse commission contracts & adjust where necessary in consultation with Marketing Manager
- Submit a weekly report of all sales related activities to the Marketing Manager
- Attend weekly meetings with Marketing Manager in person
- Manage all Travel trade communications timeously
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Formal Sales & Marketing qualifications
- Extensive experience in the hospitality industry
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience managing and directing a sales team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to providing great customer service
