About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Breeder Department Manager to join our team in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our breeder department and ensuring the optimal production of poultry products. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned agricultural professional to take on a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the breeder department
- Develop and implement breeding programs to improve productivity and efficiency
- Supervise and mentor staff members in the breeder department
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine
- Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in a Breeder or Grandparent farm environment
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy, including Excel and related systems
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, a degree in Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine is preferred.
