Job Description
Our client based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is looking for an Analyst who is experienced in Remuneration and Benefits to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- In cooperation with the Compensation and Benefits Manager, assess and analyse the duties and responsibilities of the position, and develop a fair and competitive salary.
- Analyze or evaluate market information and pay patterns, and then suggest new appointment salaries, promotions, and interim modifications.
- Regular checks and audits to make sure the human resource information system’s data is accurate.
- Be abreast of market developments, best practices for compensation and benefits, and any legal, legislative, and governance compliance needs.
- Manage employee benefits, including retirement plans, health insurance, risk management for disabilities, group personal accident insurance, funeral benefits, etc.
- Proficient Excel knowledge
- Generate reports and give analytical support for ongoing special projects and initiatives; Take part in remuneration salary surveys and analyze the data that is obtained.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum BCom Finance/ HR Degree or Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in remuneration, data analysis, job evaluation, grading, and employee benefits administration.
- Strong statistical, analytical and research skills.
- High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict.
- Ability to negotiate with various stake holders at multiple levels.
