About the Role
Provincial Logistics is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team in Paarl. As an integral part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate management of our inventory levels, overseeing warehouse operations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory for operational needs.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records on relevant systems.
- Identify, record, and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock.
- Manage stock adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Datatim or similar systems advantageous.
- Proficiency with the GRANITE WMS will be a big Plus.
- Proficiency with Scanner function is a definite must.
- Sound communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric) essential; a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field advantageous.
