As a Plant Electrician, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring maximum plant availability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment where your technical expertise directly impacts operational efficiency and production output.

Education:

  • Trade Test Electrician (Red Seal)
  • Valid Wireman’s License (GMR2 – Non-Negotiable)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in plant electrical maintenance and fault finding
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and PLCs
  • Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery
  • Sound understanding of GMR2 compliance and electrical safety standards
  • Experience working in manufacturing / mining / FMCG / heavy industrial environments
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive maintenance mindset
  • Willingness to work shifts / standby when required
