About the Role
The Lodge Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of lodge operations, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth through effective leadership and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day lodge operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance
- Lead a team to achieve operational excellence, with a focus on quality service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including guests, staff, and suppliers
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Previous experience in a similar lodge environment (preferably 3+ years)
- Strong understanding of labour legislation in South Africa
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry
