Overview
Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across two high-impact programmes focused on the modernisation of regulatory reporting and credit risk reporting capabilities.
This role sits within a highly visible environment, requiring strong delivery leadership, stakeholder management at executive level, and proven experience managing complex data-driven initiatives within banking.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic data programmes within a regulatory and credit risk environment

Drive execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment to programme objectives and timelines
-
Engage and manage senior stakeholders, including executives and business heads
-
Navigate complex governance structures and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
-
Manage programme risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively
-
Coordinate cross-functional teams including data, technology, risk, and reporting
-
Ensure delivery of high-quality outputs across reporting, data pipelines, and transformation initiatives

Provide clear reporting on programme status, risks, and milestones to leadership
Required Experience
-
812+ years Project Management experience within financial services / banking
-
Proven track record delivering large-scale data programmes (non-negotiable)

Strong experience within:
-
Regulatory reporting
-
Credit risk / risk reporting environments
-

Experience working in highly governed, complex enterprise environments
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders at executive level

Experience running programmes with high visibility and pressure
Technical & Domain Skills

Strong understanding of data environments, data flows, and reporting frameworks

Exposure to regulatory frameworks within banking (Basel, IFRS, etc. advantageous)

Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

Strong financial services domain knowledge
