Sasolburg: Electrical Foreman

About the Role

The Electrical Foreman role at our Sasolburg site requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the planning, control, and management of operations/maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum task quality and efficiency, managing costs, and maintaining compliance with Process Safety Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, control, and management of operations/maintenance activity
• Ensure effective execution of operations/maintenance activities
• Evaluate abnormalities during emergency situations to avoid downtime, equipment damage, and/or SHERQ incidents
• Manage own team’s adherence to operational/maintenance procedures and for people and plant
• Schedule maintenance planning optimally to maximise production output
• Take action on first occurrence performance problems, misconduct, disciplinary, and grievance cases
• Manage performance of own team
• Ensure standard operating procedures are applied
• Participate in potential deviation analysis (PDA), root cause analysis (RCA), and risk assessments
• Execute work permit system management
• Conduct Task Risk Assessments and ensure team conducts

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (M&S)
• Trade Certificate 3 years minimum relevant experience
