About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Site Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract basis in Mbombela. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating AV installations, managing teams, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Oversee and coordinate AV installations, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to project timelines.
- Team Leadership: Manage and supervise three on-site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Technical Expertise: Must have hands-on experience with Extron, Barco, Espo, AVProEdge, Aver, and Clevertouch equipment and installations.
- Coordination & Communication: Act as the liaison between builders, contractors, and the AV team, ensuring smooth collaboration and project execution.
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring that all AV installations meet deadlines and quality standards
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed reports on project progress, team performance, and site activities
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AV installations and site management.
- Strong knowledge of Extron, Barco, Espo, AVProEdge, Aver, and Clevertouch products and integration.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings and site plans.
Qualifications
Relevant certification in AV technology, electronics, or a related field (preferred).
