About the Role
The President Hotel is seeking a highly skilled Front Office Shift Leader (Senior Receptionist/Supervisor) to take charge of our front desk and lead our reception team with confidence and expertise. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless check-ins, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Front Office during your shift
- Lead and support the reception team to keep operations smooth and efficient
- Manage check-ins and check-outs seamlessly using OPERA PMS
- Keep standards high, processes tight, and the team on track
- Be the go-to person when things need quick thinking and smart solutions
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Hospitality qualification or diploma (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience within a hotel front office
- Proven experience leading or supervising reception shifts
- Strong, hands-on OPERA PMS experience (you must be confident and fast on the system)
- Strong computer literacy, including OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Professional grooming and presentation
