Housekeeping Manager | Luxury Wine Estate | Franschhoek, Western Cape Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager for a prestigious luxury wine estate located in Franschhoek. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for excellence, strong leadership abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through the highest housekeeping standards. The successful candidate will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring that guest accommodation, public areas and back-of-house spaces consistently reflect the quality and luxury associated with the estate. Salary: R26,000 R29,000 Depending on Experience Position: Live-out Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensure smooth departmental functionality. Ensure all guest rooms, suites, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to impeccable luxury standards. Lead, train, motivate and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure high levels of performance and productivity. Conduct regular room and facility inspections to ensure quality assurance and attention to detail. Manage housekeeping schedules, staff rosters, attendance and leave planning. Monitor housekeeping inventory, linen control, cleaning supplies and departmental stock levels. Ensure efficient stock ordering and cost control within departmental budgets. Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance and Food & Beverage departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally. Implement and maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. Develop and maintain housekeeping procedures and standards to drive operational excellence. Requirements Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Senior Housekeeping Supervisor within a luxury hotel, lodge, guesthouse or wine estate environment. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team. Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining world-class standards. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sound knowledge of housekeeping procedures, stock control, inventory management and staff supervision. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Professional, proactive and solution-driven approach to daily operations. Computer literacy and administrative competence. A hands-on management style and commitment to delivering exceptional guest satisfaction. Package Salary: R26,000 R29,000 Depending on Experience. Live-out position.
