About the Role
Our client is seeking a Unit Manager to join their team in Knysna, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a surgical/orthopaedic and renal unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of healthcare professionals
- Coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate unit performance and patient outcomes
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Degree or diploma in Nursing
- Experience in a renal unit
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Computer proficiency
- Post-graduate qualification in Renal Nursing is advantageous
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification: degree or diploma in Nursing, post-graduate qualification in Renal Nursing (if applicable)
