Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma/Degree in freight, logistics or similar advantageous Minimum of 3 years’ solid experience in and understanding of fruit exports Excel and Produce Linc Attention to detail imperative and excellent prioritizing and problem solving skills Strong administration and communication skills Availability over weekends is essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all necessary export documentation are processed and received from and sent to the relevant parties ie pack houses, receivers, freight forwarders, etc Daily communication and monitoring of the documentation process Ensuring all logistics data is up to date and maintained in Produce Linc Slot management for all service providers and customers, and follow up process to completion to ensure no delays Communicate arrivals and documentation to all customers Assisting commercial members to ensure operational tasks proceed as normal Communicating and executing loading instructions to various loading depots Book collection and drop-off slots for all DDP trades with clearing agents and communicate plans to relevant receivers for delivery slots and arrivals, follow up the process to completion to ensure no delays Mail and communicate all arrivals and documentation for DDP trades with clearing agents and receivers Sending of weekly freight reports (Container on Water Report, Vessel and Container Status Report, Documentation Process, ect) Weekends on stand-by if any loads are planned All other standard functions over and above these listed are required that relate to logistics in fruit exports PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
