About the Role

MillennialNxt is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee end-to-end facilities operations across various services, ensuring seamless day-to-day site management and coordination with internal teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programmes, managing budgets, and driving cost optimisation through strategic sourcing and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
  • Ensure asset lifecycle optimisation and minimise reactive maintenance
  • Procure, appoint, and manage service providers in line with procurement policies
  • Define scope of work, SLAs, and performance metrics
  • Conduct performance reviews and enforce accountability for service delivery
  • Ensure all contractors comply with statutory, safety, and site-specific requirements
  • Manage operational and maintenance budgets
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis on repairs vs replacement decisions
  • Drive cost optimisation through strategic sourcing and negotiation
  • Serve as the primary operational interface between client
  • Translate technical issues into clear, actionable communication
  • Manage expectations through proactive engagement and reporting
  • Resolve escalations with a solutions-driven approach
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day site operations and coordinate internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation

Requirements

  • 3 years in Facilities / Property / Estate Management
  • Proven experience in maintenance-intensive environments
  • Demonstrated success managing contractors, budgets, and client relationships
  • Experience with property management systems (e.g. WeConnectU) advantageous
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong understanding of plumbing and water systems
  • Strong understanding of solar and energy management systems
  • Strong understanding of fire and life safety systems
  • Strong understanding of building fabric and structural maintenance
  • Ability to assess workmanship quality and technical compliance
