The Head of Sales & Marketing and New Business Development role at iStaff (Pty) Ltd is a critical position that requires a seasoned professional to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability in the fruit food production industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and drive strategic sales, marketing, and new business development initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable revenue growth and profitability
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, including business development strategies tailored to the fruit food production industry, pricing strategies, and market segmentation
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Brand positioning and localised marketing campaigns
  • Thorough understanding of Sales and Marketing value chain
  • Conducting thorough market research and analysing consumer trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Skilled in interpreting data to make informed marketing and product positioning decisions
  • Competitor analysis and market benchmarking
  • Adapting marketing strategies based on consumer behaviour
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies to balance profitability with competitive positioning
  • Ability to manage costs and contribute to budgeting processes for marketing and sales activities
  • Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to streamline sales and marketing operations
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms to track campaign effectiveness and customer engagement
  • Use of social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM
  • Managing brand awareness through digital and physical channels
  • Development of marketing collateral, promotions, and campaigns
  • Competence in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Ability to monitor sales performance metrics and ROI for marketing initiatives
  • Interpreting sales and marketing data

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
