Stutterheim: Senior Sales Representative (Timber Industry)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our team in Stutterheim, responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing client relationships
• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Achieve and exceed sales targets
• Conduct regular client visits across Eastern & Western Cape
• Provide product knowledge, pricing, and quotations
• Build long-term relationships with key clients
• Target Markets: Retail outlets, Wood machining shops, Furniture manufacturers, Building supply chains and retailers, Export clients (where applicable)
• Work closely with the Director on sales strategy
• Submit regular sales reports and forecasts
• Liaise with admin and operations teams regarding orders and deliveries

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in timber sales
• Proven experience selling: Wet-off-saw timber, Kiln Dried (KD) timber, Planed All Round (PAR) timber, Decking products
• Must have an existing, active customer base
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Ability to work independently in a remote/mobile role
• Strong organizational and time management skills
