Company and Job Description: A well-established educational institution is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Administrator to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong debtors management experience who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys building positive relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Debtors & Credit Control Manage the full debtors cycle, ensuring the timely collection of fees and reduction of outstanding accounts. Maintain accurate student account records and monitor overdue accounts. Implement effective debt collection strategies and follow up on outstanding balances. Liaise professionally with parents, guardians, and stakeholders to resolve account queries and payment issues. Prepare debtors reports and provide regular feedback to management. Financial Administration Assist with the management of trade payables and asset administration. Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Support month-end reporting and financial administration processes. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures. Collaborate closely with the finance team to support operational requirements. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Matric with a qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 – 5 years’ experience in debtors, credit control, or accounts receivable. Previous experience within a school or educational environment will be highly advantageous. Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SAGE 300 (Accpac) . Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with SAP will be advantageous. Apply now!
