Western Cape: Financial Manager (6-month contract) posted by Communicate Finance

Job Description

This role involves:
Reviewing and managing debtors and creditors control
Calculating monthly retainer fees and admin fee income
Overseeing and managing financial accountant to ensure accurate and complete financial records
Reviewing accounting records and monthly reconciliations including VAT, payroll, income tax, revenue and intercompany reconciliations
Maintaining fixed asset register, leave pay, prepayment, training, IFRS16 and staff loan schedules
Preparing monthly financial management reports for subsidiaries and group (consolidation)
Ensuring statutory compliance, including drafting of resolutions and company loan agreements
Preparing and coordinating the audit process
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3–4 years’ post-articles accounting experience
Strong knowledge of the Financial Services Business
Excellent communication and presentation skills
 
Qualification:
B.Com Accounting (or equivalent)
CA (SA)
