About the Role
Network Contracting is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Technician / Sales Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical advice and solutions to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across engineering, manufacturing, and warehousing industries
- Provide technical advice and solutions based on customer requirements
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Conduct site visits and client meetings
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline
- Report on sales performance and market trends
Requirements
- South African citizen
- Proven experience in technical sales (essential)
- Background in mining equipment, mineral processing, or lifting equipment sales (highly advantageous)
- Technical qualification (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or strong technical sales experience
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel
