Duties:
 
Agent Relationship Development:
 
Collaborate with the Head of Travel House and the Sales Manager of the region to assess trip opportunities and enhance partner relationships for all bookings.
Maintain regular communication and deliver high-quality service to partners at all times.
Foster strong, trust-based relationships with partners by understanding their business trends and their individual needs
 
Quote Preparation & Booking Management:
 
Provide accurate and timely quotes, ability to upselling experiences and activities
Ensure that all relevant details are gathered and special partner rates negotiated (in coordination with the Product Manager) before generating quotes
Understand and meet the specific needs of partners in each booking.
Maintain and update booking files electronically.
 
Requirements:
 
Matric certificate
Tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality
Minimum 3 years of an intermediary-level experience in the luxury travel industry.
Proven track record in customer relationship management and developing travel products and services, specifically in the inbound tourism sector.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, email, Internet).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with TourPlan, or other booking/operating systems.
In-depth product knowledge of Southern and East Africa, particularly Tanzania and Kenya.
Previous travel experience (personal or educational) is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience working with third-party agents is essential.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
Strong time desk management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments.
Excellent follow-up skills and a consistent approach to delivering high-quality results.
Professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
Self-motivated with high energy and the ability to drive results.
