About the Role
The University of Fort Hare invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Applied Management, Administration and Ethical Leadership. This fellowship is an excellent opportunity to conduct innovative research on the well-being practices implemented by family-owned and non-family owned Small Medium Enterprise (SMMEs) in the Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research on the well-being practices of SMMEs in the Eastern Cape
- Produce scholarly output on the topic, including papers for review and publication
- Demonstrate relevant experience, understanding, and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative approaches
- Develop strong academic writing abilities
- Competence in data analysis (SPSS and Thematic)
- Fieldwork experience
Requirements
- A doctorate completed in the last five years in Business Management at a higher education institution in South Africa or abroad
- If not yet in possession of a doctoral degree, a written statement from the Registrar (or equivalent) at the issuing University confirming that they satisfactorily fulfilled the University’s requirements for a doctoral degree at the time of application
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or higher in Business Management or related field is required.
