About the Role
We are seeking a charismatic and elegant Front Office Duty Manager/Guest Relations professional to join our award-winning 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek Winelands. As the first point of contact for international travelers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service standards and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front office operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments
- Handle high-profile guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure efficient room service and amenities delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports using OPERA Property Mgt Software
- Process bookings and reservations in accordance with hotel policies
- Work closely with Resident Manager to ensure smooth hotel operations during off-duty hours
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of previous 5* hotel experience as a Receptionist, Concierge, Front Desk Agent or Liaison Officer Hotel Management, Front Office or Guest Relations
- Formal Tertiary Qualifications
- Strong admin, organizational, financial and planning abilities
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and OPERA Property Mgt Software
- Fully proficient in booking and reservations systems
- Willingness to work evening and late shifts
