About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our luxury game lodge’s F&B operations in Bela-Bela, Limpopo. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Full management of all F&B operations to the highest standards and within budget
- Lead; recruit, train and develop the F&B team – setting KPIs, schedules and SOPs
- Identify and proactively respond to guest needs across all dining and service touchpoints
- Monitor and report on financial performance, cost controls and operational targets
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Coordinate and oversee F&B rosters across all departments
- Assist the Resident Manager with operational and administrative functions as required
- Act as Manager on Duty when rostered, including meet and greet and guest hosting duties
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record in a similar senior F&B role in a lodge or hotel environment
- Matric essential; further hospitality qualification advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office – strong Excel skills required
- Working knowledge of Opera and/or Symphony PMS advantageous
Qualifications
- Valid South African ID and driver’s license
- Stable career history with contactable references
Salary & Benefits
- Market-related CTC (inclusive of accommodation and meals on duty)
- Provident Fund: 5% mandatory employee contribution
