About the Role
Join a leading luxury hotel in Cape Town as a Junior Sales Executive specialising in venue and events sales within the dynamic hospitality industry. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a driven individual passionate about promoting premium restaurant spaces and exclusive hotel venues for high-end activations, product launches, art exhibitions, private dinners, weddings, and bespoke gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, engage, and secure new sales opportunities for Newmark Waterfront restaurants and conference venues.
- Create tailored proposals and presentations for events, activations, weddings, meetings, and private functions.
- Conduct and host professional site inspections for clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event-specific campaigns and content.
- Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and hospitality activations.
- Maintain an accurate database of leads, contacts, and activities using approved Newmark tools.
- Work closely with operations and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in F&B, events, product launches, or wedding coordination.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities; detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
