About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to play a key role in shaping frontend engineering across their business. This is not a pure delivery role, but rather an opportunity to combine hands-on development with architectural input, mentorship, and ownership of frontend best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical partner to the Frontend Lead, combining hands-on development with architectural input, mentorship, and ownership of frontend best practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of their modern, large-scale Angular platform in terms of performance, scalability, and developer experience.
- Help shape component architecture, state management strategies, testing approaches, and frontend standards across applications.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers, contributing to shared design systems and influencing how accessibility, performance, and quality are embedded into everything built.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience building and maintaining production Angular applications.
- Strong knowledge of modern Angular features, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience working within Nx monorepos.
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture and state management.
- Experience contributing to or building scalable design systems.
- Strong focus on performance optimization and web accessibility.
Qualifications
Relevant software engineering experience preferred. Formal qualifications beneficial but not essential.
