About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Printer Operator to join our team in Port Elizabeth, responsible for operating and maintaining printing machinery to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up printing machines according to production requirements
Ensure adherence to all quality, safety, and environmental standards within the organisation
Comply with ISO procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
Review and assess work orders to understand production needs
Maintain high housekeeping standards within the department
Update and maintain relevant in-house systems daily
Actively participate in improving machine availability by following preventive maintenance procedures

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience operating printing machinery
Strong understanding of machine operations, equipment control, and IoT systems
Computer literacy: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or internal systems
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric) Trade Qualification in Corrugated Board Printing and Finishing Machine Minding
