About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Guide and Duty Manager Couple to join our client’s Luxury Safari River Lodge in Zululand, KZN. As a couple, you will be responsible for guiding guests on safari experiences and managing daily operations of the lodge. You will enjoy meals while on duty and have access to groceries during your time off. Live-in accommodation is also provided, along with a compulsory provident fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide guests on safari experiences
- Manage daily operations of the lodge
- Participate in maintenance tasks as part of the team
- Handle in-camp issues and use initiative to resolve problems
- Work well under pressure and independently when necessary
Requirements
- Guide:
- Valid PDP (Professional Driver’s Permit)
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid first aid Level 1 certification
- DEAT registration (with FGASA level 1 minimum experience)
- Minimum 2 years working experience as a guide
- Duty Manager:
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid first aid Level 1 certification (preferred)
- Previous working experience in a similar role (1 year minimum)

- Guide: R9500 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
